1. About these terms
LotGeek is operated by OneButton Software LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service apply to the LotGeek browser extension, website, and supporting account and billing services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these terms, including the responsibilities and third-party account risks described in Section 4. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information. You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into this agreement. If you use LotGeek for a business, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for that business.
2. What LotGeek does
LotGeek is a browser productivity and analysis tool. At your direction, it automates steps you would otherwise perform in your browser: reviewing a lot manifest, looking up comparable sold prices, calculating costs and potential profit, and preparing a report. It is not a marketplace or broker.
Marketplace requests and price research run in your browser, using your own access and existing marketplace sessions where applicable. Full reports, manual price adjustments and purchase assumptions are processed and saved locally. Product names and identifiers are sent to our backend and service providers for search preparation. Limited sold-listing titles and price samples are sent to our backend for comparability review and calculation of shared averages. Service providers receive product identities and listing titles to assist with that review; prices are calculated from accepted marketplace observations. Market estimates and the associated product information are handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Our backend also handles sign-in, subscription access, analysis authorization, and usage limits, including limited metadata such as the marketplace and lot URL.
Third-party content remains subject to the rights of its owners and the terms of its source. LotGeek does not grant rights to third-party content or permission to access it.
3. Your account
Provide a valid email address, protect your account and sign-in credentials, and use only accounts and sessions you are authorized to access. You are responsible for activity under your account. Contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
LotGeek supports email and password sign-in and third-party sign-in through our authentication provider. We may require account verification and may restrict fraudulent accounts, account sharing intended to evade plan limits, or other misuse.
4. Marketplace access and your responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring that your access to each marketplace and your use of LotGeek comply with applicable laws, the marketplace’s user agreement, automation policies, and any permissions required by that marketplace. A valid session or the ability to view a page does not, by itself, establish permission to automate access. Obtain any required express permission before using automated features.
Do not use LotGeek to bypass a login, CAPTCHA, verification step, access restriction, or other technical control. Do not use it in a way that overloads a third-party service or accesses information without authorization. You remain responsible for the searches and other actions performed through your browser and marketplace sessions. Stop using an integration if you are not permitted to use it.
LotGeek is independent of, and is not endorsed by or affiliated with, eBay, BStock, Direct Liquidation, or TechLiquidators. Third-party services may change, restrict automation, or limit or suspend accounts under their own rules. We do not guarantee continued access to any third-party source.
Risk of third-party account restrictions. By using LotGeek with eBay, liquidation marketplaces, or any other external service, you acknowledge that automated browsing and searches may trigger security checks, rate limits, temporary restrictions, account suspension, or permanent account termination. These services decide whether your activity is permitted under their own rules. Your subscription to LotGeek does not authorize activity prohibited by an external service or guarantee that your external accounts will remain available.
You choose whether to use each integration and accept the risks of independent enforcement actions taken by external services. You are responsible for complying with their rules and for contacting them to resolve account restrictions. To the extent permitted by applicable law, OneButton Software LLC is not responsible for third-party enforcement decisions outside our control, is not obliged to restore or replace an external account, and is not liable for resulting loss of account access, marketplace privileges, listings, sales, business opportunities, or profits. This allocation of risk does not exclude liability for our own conduct where that liability cannot lawfully be excluded, or remove any mandatory consumer rights.
5. Estimates and your decisions
Prices, market values, break-even bids, and profit projections are estimates, not appraisals or financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Comparables can be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or different in condition, configuration, or included accessories. Missing prices and your manual adjustments affect results. No resale price, sale, profit, or completeness of information is guaranteed.
Review the manifest, quantities, grades, product identity, shipping, and buyer fees before bidding. The current profit model does not deduct resale platform fees, taxes, returns, repairs, or delivery to your customers. Missing shipping or buyer-fee inputs may be treated as zero for an estimate and must be entered for a more complete calculation. You are responsible for your bids, purchases, resale activity, and all costs.
6. Plans and billing
Free includes Starter monthly Usage and a maximum of 25 unique products per lot. Starting a new analysis consumes a fixed portion of the Free monthly allowance, including when that analysis is later paused or abandoned. Continuing the same active analysis and opening saved results do not consume additional Free Usage; explicitly restarting an analysis or redoing a completed report consumes additional allowance. Pro includes Advanced monthly Usage with no per-lot product count limit for $29 per month. Analyses consume the monthly Usage allowance included in your plan. Both plans display consumed Usage as a percentage and show the reset date in your account. Allowances reset on the first day of each calendar month in UTC and do not roll over. When Free Usage is exhausted, a new analysis requires Pro or a new monthly period; an existing authorized analysis can still be continued. When Pro Usage is exhausted, starting or continuing an analysis requiring further processing is blocked until the next monthly period. Analyses may pause when the remaining Pro allowance is insufficient for the next step. Saved reports remain accessible. Prices are in USD; applicable taxes and the final amount are shown at checkout. Continuing or opening a saved report is subject to the functionality and access rules shown in the extension.
Stripe processes payments and maintains payment methods and subscription records. A paid subscription renews automatically for the selected billing period until cancelled. Manage your subscription through LotGeek’s subscription controls, which open Stripe’s billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid billing period unless otherwise stated during cancellation; uninstalling the extension does not cancel a subscription.
Fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or otherwise agreed by us. This does not limit mandatory cancellation or refund rights. Contact us about billing errors or refund requests. We will give reasonable advance notice of changes to paid subscription prices before they apply to a renewal.
7. Permitted use and ownership
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use LotGeek for your own personal or internal business research while you comply with these terms. The software, branding, and original website content belong to us or our licensors. You retain your rights in your own inputs and exported work, subject to any rights in third-party content.
Do not resell or redistribute the Service, interfere with its security, access another user’s account, evade subscription or usage limits, or use it for unlawful or fraudulent purposes. Do not copy or reverse engineer the software except to the extent applicable law expressly permits. These terms do not restrict rights granted by third-party open-source licenses.
8. Availability and termination
We may update features and integrations as the Service develops. Maintenance, network issues, browser changes, and third-party restrictions can interrupt functionality. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or a service-level agreement. Keep exports of reports you need: locally saved reports can expire according to your retention settings or be lost if browser data is removed.
We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach, non-payment, fraud, security risks, or legal requirements. Where reasonably practicable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve a breach. You may stop using the Service at any time and contact us to request account deletion. Cancelling a subscription and deleting an account are separate actions; contact us if you need help with both. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
9. Warranties and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement. We do not warrant third-party content or services.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, OneButton Software LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, including lost profits, business interruption, data loss, or losses arising from bids, purchases, or third-party account restrictions. Our aggregate liability arising from the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits statutory warranties, remedies, or other mandatory rights that apply to you.
10. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms and will update the date on this page. For material changes affecting existing users, we will provide reasonable notice through the Service or email before they take effect, except when an immediate change is required by law or for security. If you do not accept a change, stop using the Service and cancel any renewal before the change applies. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
